We need your help! Volunteering is a great way to connect you to NODA and the conference, promotes networking with colleagues and the planning committee, and gives you an opportunity to contribute to the success of the conference.
Volunteering is open to all participants…professionals, graduate students, and undergraduate students. We need assistance with registration, program evaluations, side trips, and much more.
When you register for the conference online, check the “I’m interested in volunteering!” box to sign up. Then when you arrive at the conference, stop by the volunteer table located next to registration to obtain your assignment and volunteer details.
Thank you in advance — your time and dedication is appreciated. For more information about volunteering, please contact Phyllis Floro at floro@buffalo.edu.
Leave a Legacy of Inspiration in Boston!
Each year, many school children lack adequate support or encouragement to pursue higher education. As Orientation professionals we can help.
When you come to NODAC, bring your Orientation “extras” (t-shirts, mugs, key chains, etc) AND an equal number of your Admissions “view books.”
NODAC volunteers will collect these materials and package them together with information about higher education and financial aid resources, as well as a letter explaining it all.
The bundles will be given to students who are part of a specialized program which encourages academic achievement. The students will be excited about the “freebies” and the encouraged by the helpful resources.
As Orientation professionals, we will leave a legacy of inspiration for these students!
