Networks

The NODA Networks serve as the foundation of the Association in that they attempt to meet the diverse needs of our members. Each Network is comprised of people with like-minded personal or institutional interests. Noda members may participate in any number of Networks and are encouraged to pursue leadership roles within the Network structure. Plan to attend the Network meetings held on Saturday morning.

Canadian Network

The purpose of this Network is to support the involvement of and to address the concerns of Canadian institutions and members, make recommendations to the Board as appropriate, and promote NODA and its resources among Canadian institutions and professionals.

Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender and Allies Network

The purpose of this Network is to support the involvement of and to address the concerns of gay, lesbian, and bisexual members of the Association and to make recommendations to the Board as appropriate.

Graduate Student Network

The purpose of this Network is to support the involvement of and to address the concerns of graduate students and member institutions with graduate training programs and to promote NODA and its resources to graduate students interested in the field of orientation.

Multi-Ethnic Network

The purpose of this Network is to support the involvement of and to address the concerns of the diverse members of NODA and make recommendations to the Board as appropriate.

Nontraditional Student Network

The purpose of this network is to provide support and resources to orientation programs and institutions with significant populations of nontraditional students.

Parent & Family Network

The purpose of this network is to provide NODA members with the most up-to-date discussions, resources, and ideas for Parent Orientation Programs, University-wide Parent Services, and Parents’ Association organizations.

Small College Network

The purpose of this Network is to support the involvement of and to address the concerns
of Association members from small colleges and to promote NODA and its activities to small colleges and professionals who work at small colleges.

Two-Year College Network

The purpose of the network is to support the involvement of and to address the concerns of two year colleges and professionals within those institutions and to promote NODA.

Transfer Services Network

The purpose of this network is to provide support and assistance for orientation, transition and retention issues concerning transfer populations.

Undergraduate Student Network

The purpose of this Network is to support the involvement of and to address the concerns of students and to promote NODA and its activities to students interested in the field of orientation.
