Welcome to Boston!

In 1888, the first Orientation program was offered at Boston University. One hundred and twenty years later, we revisit the birthplace of Orientation and look to the future of the profession as we reflect on our legacy of inspiration.

Known as America’s college town, the Boston area is home to approximately 250,000 students in more than fifty institutions of higher learning. The academic vibrance and bustle of student life stand as testaments to the city’s enduring qualities as the cradle of American higher education. With unparalleled opportunities to actively engage with institutions in the academic and social development of students, no better city exists to host the 2008 National Orientation Directors Association Annual Conference. Join us on October 31-November 3, 2008 as we seek to inspire our students, our institutions, and each other to excellence!
